Sandi Baker came to APH in the fall of 2001 with more than 25 years in the field of education and special education. Sandi has experience as an early interventionist, early childhood special education teacher and administrator of those programs. She spent 10 years working in the field of deafblindness, first with the University of Kentucky's Deafblind Intervention Project as a consultant and project coordinator, and then with the Helen Keller National Center's National Technical Assistance Project for Children and Young Adults Who Are Deafblind. Sandi also served as the director of an assistive technology resource center for individuals with disabilities.

Sandi's work at APH focuses on conducting product training, developing product training materials, and involvement with the University Initiative Partnership.

Sandi holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, and a Master of Science degree in Education with a major in Special Education, both from Indiana University.
