Join APH experts for trainings, product presentations and meetings without leaving your home or office.
What is a Webcast?
A Webcast is a multimedia presentation that uses the Internet to broadcast live or delayed audio and video transmissions, much like traditional television and radio broadcasts.
APH Webcasts will use a tool called TC Software. An accessible interactive tool that offers the following capabilities for blind and sighted users alike:
- Live voice conferencing
- Live text chatting
- Shared web pages and Power Point presentations
- Recording and playback that includes all voice interactions, text chats and web pages.
How is APH planning to use this technology?
- Interactive Online meetings.
- Live product presentations and training.
- Follow up product support.
- Sharing of ideas, pictures, Web sites, Voice and text-based conversations
- Online discussions
What do I need to join an APH Webcast?
- Access to the Internet
- A set of speakers
- An inexpensive microphone to talk with the group
The first time you log into the "virtual conference room," a small plug-in (TC Software) will download and install in your computer.
