The 136th APH Annual Meeting of Ex Officio Trustees and Special Guests
"Opening the Doors of Opportunity"
October 14 - 16, 2004
Dear Ex Officio Trustees and Special Guests:
October 14 through 16 are the dates for the 136th Annual Meeting of APH Ex Officio Trustees and friends. Our meeting site will again be the Camberley Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. We hope that you will "calendarize" these dates and join in as we share our progress and heed your counsel.
This year the program will help us as we continue "Opening the Doors of Opportunity." Dr. Sally Mangold, a leader in the area of literacy for children with visual impairments, will share her personal and professional insights in a not-to-be-missed keynote session. Dr. Mangold's presentation is sure to educate and entertain us all.
APH staff members and product authors will provide training sessions and information on the latest APH products. An Information Fair will offer posters and demonstrations of new and current APH products, projects, and services.
Enclosed is an Annual Meeting 2004 packet with registration form and hotel flyer. Your registration form should reach APH by September 14, 2004. Please make your reservations with the Brown by using the enclosed toll-free number. Reservations at the Brown must be made by September 14.
We are happy to be of service to you by providing tactile maps of the hotel and orientation to the facility. The Brown provides braille and large print menus in their dining locations. If there are other ways that we can make your stay more enjoyable, please contact APH and we will do our best to accommodate you.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after October 4, 2004. We encourage your active participation in this annual historic meeting that gathers many people of our field in Louisville each year. Please take this opportunity to share in the joy of our common journey.
Sincerely,
Tuck Tinsley III
