Tours of APH are scheduled for Thursday, October 14. Transportation will be provided between APH and The Brown Hotel.

THURSDAY MORNING TRIPS TO APH, OCTOBER 14
Bus leaves hotel from the Broadway entrance at 9:00 am and leaves APH to return to hotel at 11:30 am.

9:30 am - 11:30 am
Tour the APH Plant, Callahan Museum, and Hall of Fame
The plant tour features an overview of APH production processes in braille and large print, recording studio, and educational aids. The Hall of Fame continues to grow with the recent installation of new kiosks and plaques featuring leaders and legends in the field of blindness. The Callahan Museum will highlight new exhibits and invites visitors to enjoy refreshments in celebration of its tenth anniversary.

9:30 am - 11:30 am
Tour the Callahan Museum and Hall of Fame
Those who want an in-depth look at the Callahan Museum's excellent collection and to learn more about its resources, including archival material for research, that are available for the field, may choose to spend the entire visit in the Museum and Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame continues to grow with the recent installation of new kiosks and plaques featuring leaders and legends in the field of blindness. The Callahan Museum will highlight new exhibits and invites visitors to enjoy refreshments in celebration of its tenth anniversary.

Bus leaves the hotel from the Broadway entrance at 1:00 p.m. and leaves APH to return to hotel at 3:30 pm.
