Learning Across a Lifetime

The 137th Annual Meeting of Ex Officio Trustees and Special Guests
American Printing House for the Blind, Inc.
October 13-15, 2005
Louisville, Kentucky

July 22, 2005

Dear Ex Officio Trustees and Special Guests:

October 13 through 15 are the dates for the 137th Annual Meeting of APH Ex Officio Trustees and friends. Our meeting site this year will be the new Downtown Marriott in Louisville, Kentucky. We hope that you will "calendarize" these dates and join in as we share our progress and heed your counsel.

This year the program will give us opportunities for "Learning Across A Lifetime" as Dr. J. Elton Moore, Director of the Rehabilitation and Research and Training Center for Blindness and Low Vision of Mississippi State University, shares highlights and insights in a not-to-be-missed keynote session.

APH staff members and product consultants will provide training sessions and information on the latest APH products. An Information Fair will offer posters and demonstrations of new and current APH products, projects, and services.

Events especially for Ex Officio Trustees will include a welcome breakfast for new Trustees, a mandatory training meeting, and the annual formal luncheon.

Enclosed is an Annual Meeting 2005 packet with registration form and hotel flyer. Your registration form should reach APH by September 13, 2005. Please make your reservations with the Marriott by using the enclosed toll-free number. Reservations at the Marriott must be made by September 13.

We are happy to be of service to you by providing tactile maps of the hotel and orientation to the facility. The Marriott provides braille and large print menus in their dining locations. If there are other ways we can make your stay more enjoyable, please contact APH and we will do our best to accommodate you.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after October 5, 2005.

We encourage your active participation in this annual historic meeting that gathers many people of our field in Louisville each year. Please take this opportunity to share in the joy of our common journey.

Sincerely,

Tuck Tinsley III
