Tom Sullivan

We invite you to attend APH Annual Meeting 2006, themed "Adjusting the Sails." Actor, singer, entertainer, author, and producer Tom Sullivan will be the featured keynote speaker. Also, APH staff and product authors will provide information on exciting new and upcoming products, and our annual poster sessions and updates from the field will round out the program.

Michael Hingson and Roselle

We are honored that Michael Hingson has agreed to join us and share his moving 9/11 story. Hingson was in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He and his Guide Dog "Roselle" descended 78 flights of stairs to escape the burning building. Michael and "Roselle" have become well-known as representatives of the strength of the human/animal bond, and have been successful in communicating the power of that bond in many interviews and public presentations.

"We had Michael here in NC for a state conference. His story is absolutely enthralling! He is worth listening to...by every American."
-- Dennis Thurman, Director of the Governor Morehead School

Additional highlights will include awards presentations to vision professionals, a banquet honoring APH InSights artists and Hall of Fame inductees, as well as a fun steamboat dinner cruise on the Ohio River.
