The 143rd Annual Meeting of Ex Officio Trustees and Special Guests
American Printing House for the Blind, Inc.
October 13-15, 2011
Galt House Hotel, Louisville, Kentucky
“Running Strong Since 1858”
Dear Ex Officio Trustees and Special Guests:
The theme for the 2011 Annual Meeting, "Running Strong Since 1858", reflects APH's long and storied history in the field of blindness and visual impairment and also calls on Kentucky’s rich history and love affair with horses and racing. We invite you to find out more about our race towards the future at the 143rd Annual Meeting of Ex Officio Trustees and Special Guests, October 13–15, 2011, at the historic Galt House Hotel and Suites on the Ohio River in downtown Louisville.
Our keynote speaker is Ms. Annette Reichman, Director/Liaison, Office of Special Institutions, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. She has been a hands-on liaison for APH, facilitating a growing collaboration between APH and the United States Department of Education.
APH staff members and product authors will provide training sessions and information on new APH products and give you the opportunity to provide input on products in development. An Information Fair will offer posters and demonstrations of new and current APH products, projects, and services. A variety of related meetings will take place before and after Annual Meeting and you can even cruise your way down the Ohio river on the Spirit of Jefferson riverboat as we dine and dance the night away!
