The 135th APH Annual Meeting of Ex Officio Trustees and Special Guests,
October 16 - 18, 2003


Dr. Kent Cullers Dr. Kent Cullers, the world's first blind physicist, is scheduled to keynote October's Annual Meeting at the Camberley Brown Hotel, in Louisville, Kentucky. Cullers has been involved in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) since 1980 and currently works for the SETI Institute in Mountain View, California, where he is Director for SETI Research and Development.

Dr. Susan Spungin will receive APH's coveted "Wings of Freedom" Award and Dr. Sally Mangold will receive the "Creative Use of Braille" Award. Billy Brookshire will receive the Virgil Zickel Award for his APH product, Loving Me. A banquet honoring the APH InSights Artists and these outstanding professionals will be a highlight. Additionally, APH staff and product authors will provide training sessions in the use of the latest APH products.
