Placing APH's Pumpkin Puzzle on a light table may interest the child more than on a non-illuminated surface.

This child found the nose, but keeping the black background around the pumpkin may work better for another child.

The APH Pegs and Pegboard proved to be the most orienting tool for this child. She independently examined every color and shape.
