Federal Quota Eligibility Criteria for APH Products
Products eligible for purchase from the American Printing House for the Blind (APH) through Federal Quota must be:
- Specially developed or adapted educational materials designed to meet the instructional needs of blind or visually impaired students. This includes accessories that add Quota to the effective use of a product approved for purchase through the Federal Quota.
- Commercially unavailable at the time of development.
- Manufactured in whole or part at APH or manufactured by others to meet APH specifications.
- Designed and targeted to be used by blind or visually impaired students working at less than college level or to enable direct service to blind or visually impaired students.
- Available in the U.S. and its territories exclusively from APH.
