Directory of Ex Officio Trustees
Designation of an Ex Officio Trustee of the American Printing House for the Blind
Ex Officio Trustees are charged with the administration of their respective Federal Quota accounts. The Ex Officio Trustee must be appointed by one of the following heads of each respective organization:
- Highest executive officer of the state department of education
- Highest executive officer of a school for the blind
- Highest executive officer of other agencies serving the blind
The agency head may appoint an appropriate professional if he or she chooses not to serve as the Ex Officio Trustee. Forms for designation of the Ex Officio Trustee are available through the Field Services Department of APH. These forms must be signed by the official charged with appointment of the Trustee (see listing above). Prompt notification to APH of changes in trusteeship is essential to ensure continuing and effective service.
