Paperpulp, Sand

Artist: Jordan Cooper
Asking Price:Not for Sale

Description: Cast paper pulp has been used to create an image that reminds one of lines scratched into the surface of a stone tablet. Beige, gold, brown and dark gray paper pulp colors give the piece the look of something old. The artist has taken the wet fibers of paper pulp and molded them so that they create a very thick paper with a flat surface. While the fibers were still wet, a piece of heavy string or wire or other material was used to create the lines in the surface. The finished piece is mounted on a square of black cardboard.
