Description: A poem, True Love, forms the basis for this sculpture. The poem begins: You are the air, The sea, The moon, The stars...You are the life I breathe...You are my existence... The artist has used cardboard, paper, foam board and crayon to create the sculpture. A rectangular piece of foam board has been folded into an "L" shape to form the background of the work. The back of it is covered with deep sky blue paper. The poem is printed on a rectangle of white paper that is glued to the center of this blue area. The poem is surrounded with stars, moon, clouds and a figure representing the blowing wind. The bottom part of the folded board is green, with the image of the earth pasted in each corner. Cardboard tubes and foam board have been covered with colored paper and crayon drawings, then held together with slots to create a three dimensional shape. Stars and a moon shape adorn a bright red cylinder at the center of the work. The shapes surrounding it are colored to resemble parts of the globe.
