Description: This small, round, wooden vase was created using a lathe, so the form is smooth and symmetrical. The body of the vase takes up about two-thirds of its height. This part is pale tan wood, with a few gray streaks in it. The neck of the vase is dark mahogany-colored wood. The base of the vase is the widest-a little over three inches in diameter. The top is rounded, then quickly narrows to form the neck and lip of the vase. The base of the neck is about one inch in diameter. Then it narrows, further, until it is about three fourths of an inch. Near the top of the vase, it spreads out, again, to form a slightly wider lip.
