Description: Black and brown ink have been applied to white paper to create images that relate to the American Printing House for the Blind. These images are arranged so that they appear to float across the page in a dream-like way. An hourglass, trees, building, books, an angel, a rose, and a global structure looking out into the cosmos have been drawn in great detail. The entire drawing has been executed with the point of the pen. The artist did not make an outline and fill in the shapes. Many of the shapes have no drawn outline. Making many dots very close together creates the visual impression of the outline at the edge of each shape. The same technique is used to shade and give the illusion of three dimensions to the forms.
