Description: Shades of deep turquoise green and blue accent this dramatic bowl. The bowl is nearly round, but not quite, with a flat foot at the base. The inside of the bowl is very smooth, but is given visual texture by the mingled wide strokes of light blue and green glaze. The outside of bowl is highly textured. The surface of the clay has been applied in such a way as to create a very rough surface: as though the tines of a fork had been dragged from the base to the lip of the bowl while the clay was still wet. The top edge of the bowl is irregular, somewhat jagged, and continues the texture of the outside surface.
