Rocky Brown Ears

Glazed Clay

Size in inches: 17 high by 8 wide by 11 deep
Artist: Luis Salazar
Price: Sold

Description: This ceramic blue animal is made of glazed clay and looks like a fantasy creature. It consists of multiple tones of the colors hunter green, turquoise, and sky blue. The animal has an oval face that comes to a more rectangular shape at the front. It has a sunken, cherry red nose and a thick, red smile that slightly curves. It has blue sunken eyes on either side of its face, in the same manner of a horse or dinosaur. Two ears on either side of the head are approximately 2.5 inches long, brown, and look almost like curved elf ears. They are broader at the base and then get thicker to a point at the top. The animal's long neck is attached to a skinny, mostly green body. The body is more than a foot long. The animal has four feet, shaped like elephant's feet, and a long tail that curves to the right of its body, shaped somewhat like a lizard's tail.
