Description: This glazed clay sculpture depicts a bright green alien, sitting dejected with a bright blue tear rolling down his face. On his elongated head, he has arched eyebrows, big black eyeballs, and a small nose, all jutting out from his face. His mouth is a small black oval, painted on the face. His head is propped up on a skinny neck above a solid mass of body. His thin arms cross in front of his body, and his hands each have two fingers that stick out like pinchers or lobster's claws. He is sitting on his rear end, and his legs come up from the floor and then reach back down again to the ground in an arch. His feet have the same pincher appearance as his hands. He looks forlorn on a little lily pad-looking object with circular engravings, outlined in black, and vertical lines around the edge.
