Clay and Mosaic Tile

Size in inches: 16 high by 20 wide
Artist: Leela Kazerouni
Price: Sold

Description: Most of the picture is made up of abstract clay forms representing a blue sky, trees, a grassy knoll, a blue lake, and a small black horse, facing left by lake. Various mosaic tiles surround these forms, creating a vibrancy and diversity in the picture. Green tiles enclose the grassy area, marbled brown tiles edge the lake, white tiles create the caps of four mountains in the distance, and mauve tiles produce the lower half of the mountain below the snowcaps. Purple square tiles border the entire piece.
