Description: This drawing, created entirely with charcoal, focuses on a woman wrapped in a scarf. While the scarf is very light and hardly shaded, her hair and eyes are quite dark. One side of her face is shone in deep shadow. She has a concentrated, yet contented look about her. The background on her right is entirely black, in contrast to the much lighter color on the left.
