Description: The head of a woman is sculpted in ceramic, in rich glazed brown over a lighter brown. Each small strand of her long, tangled hair is sculptured and defined. The woman's eyes are closed, with stiff protruding wire eyelashes, and her mouth is slightly open. Her left ear is uncovered, and a clay earring dangles from it. Her head is topped by a cylindrical headdress with an open, fanned top.
