Fort Rocket

Artist: Edward Majeski

Description: In this piece, angular pieces of thin tissue paper are layered and collaged to make a white, purple, and black abstract design. This is accented with a few small feathers in black and pink. Across the bottom of the piece is a rectangle of translucent white tissue, covered all over in brightly colored specks in pink, blue, and yellow. In the middle of the piece, three long, thin white lines form an angle with one line leading diagonally from top left to the bottom right of the piece, and two lines intersecting with it at the top, placed horizontally across the piece.
