This demonstration slideshow will introduce you to the new look and features of AMP. These slides will alternate between examples of actual AMP pages and slides containing text describing the AMP pages, pointing out new features or explaining what actions were taken to produce the examples. The show starts with the new AMP home page.
As with the new Louis interface, we redesigned the AMP database to make it more functional and user-friendly, especially for those with low vision or those who use speech software.
Low vision experts selected the colors for the page design and buttons, and the design echoes the color scheme employed in the new Louis interface.
Those using JAWS will notice several improvements. For instance, we have eliminated unnecessary text, put buttons toward the bottom of the screen, and used combo boxes instead of other input fields for more efficient navigation.
This slideshow opens in a new browser window. Use the navigation buttons–"prev", "close", and "next"–at the bottom of the slides to move forward and backward within the demonstration.
