The Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind offers an invaluable introduction into how people who are blind or visually impaired experience the world. Through its rare collection of artifacts, students will gain hands-on experiences using technology from the past and the present, discovering how people who are blind and visually impaired achieve self-sufficiency. And, they will leave with a wealth of new information for future discussion and learning.
The following materials provide an introduction to our museum and can help you plan your visit:
- Information for Teachers: tour descriptions, scheduling, and introductory material.
- Information for Students: activities sheets and reference materials for students to use in preparation for their tour.
- Museum Tour Evaluation Sheet: please complete and submit this form after your tour to help us serve future student groups.
