Guided Tours

The American Printing House for the Blind offers free guided tours of its facility. Visitors will see the production of braille publications, the recording of talking books, and a demonstration of special educational aids for visually impaired students.

The tours take place at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday, except holidays. Tour length is approximately one hour. Please make advance reservations for groups of ten or more. Tours can also be arranged for school or other groups of children ages 9 and up. Donations are gratefully accepted.

Visitors may also tour the Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind. Hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The museum is closed on major holidays.
