| Summary |
The book is hardbound; brown covers. A torn label on the spine is printed "Thackery, Four Georges." Embossed on the title page is "The Four Georges By William Makepeace Thackeray. Stereotyped And Printed By the American Printing House for the Blind. Louisville, Kentucky. 1883." Three rows of raised dots form a border around the embossed information on the title page. The Four Georges was recommended for embossing in 1882 and was produced in 1883. It was offered for sale for $3.50. The last APH catalog entry for the book was 1926. There is no record of how many were embossed. |
