Summary Paper-covered boards with light brown marbled pattern; black leather reinforced spine and corners; in one volume, 122 pp.; spine has decorative gilt lines and a blue tape label (1 x 3 3/4 in.) with title in raised letters; double line of raised dots frames the title page and the word "Electrotyped" on t.p.; blue, cloth ribbon bookmark. "Perkins Institution and Mass. School for the Blind." -- t.p. "Printed for the use of the Blind by Permission of The Macmillan Company, Publisher, and Homer Greene, Author." --t.p. Loose hinges; covers are worn; front board is damaged at bottom left; pages have darkened; slight foxing; front free endpaper is missing bottom right corner; letters in very good shape.
