Summary Hardbound with marbled paper over boards and the spine bound with cloth; 50 pages. Title page is missing. The Blind Child's Second Book, a reading primer, was originally embossed in raised letters in 1846 by the Howe Memorial Press (Perkins School for the Blind). A handwritten note on front endpaper reads "This book was used by Helen Keller to teach when in Wesport, NY."
