| Blue enameled, open two piece chassis, cast aluminum frame, rests on rubber feet, waved pattern on chassis bars above and below keyboard; stainless steel key arms with bright green plastic key pads; dot keys have spoon shaped pads, space bar has "T" shaped pad which extends out toward user with unusual depth; green plastic key spacing bar inside chassis; six steel pins write from below, pressing through braille cell into arm of chassis which extends backward (as in the Hall and New Hall machines); 40 character wide stainless steel carriage with left and right margin sets on toothed back bar; black enameled wooden platen, advanced by green plastic platen knobs on both sides, second stainless steel roller with white plastic grip rings is geared to the platen advance; line-end ringer with spring loaded striker set to sound four characters from the line end; manual backspace key to right of chassis below carriage with finger shaped lever; label on bottom, "SVEC a SPOL s.r.o/ROK VYROBY 2003/VYR CISLO 0756; label on front, "TATRAPOINT/adaptive/MADE IN SLOVAKIA". |
