Description

| There are no markings on this braille writer to indicate the manufacturer or name of the machine. It looks similar to a Marburg Braille Shorthand Typewriter/Marburg Tape Printer (Braille Stenotype) and may be an early version. It embosses on a roll of paper tape that is approximately 5/8 in. wide and inserted into the back of the machine. The writer is designed as a case with six keys and a spacing bar. The front of the case opens forward to reveal the keys. The keys are made of chrome and have rubber padding beneath them. The braille writer is metal and painted black. The writer is missing screws that fasten into the bottom. |
