Description Folding wooden ruler measures up to 24 inches. A brass pivoting hinge folds the ruler into two side-by-side 12-inch sections. A brass hinge in the middle of each 12-inch section folds the ruler into a 6-inch length. Both sides of the ruler have black 1/8-inch markings, with black print numerals at every inch. One side is made tactile with metal studs; a single stud marks each inch and half inch, with inches also indicated in braille numerals formed by studs. There are no markings at 6, 8, and 12 inches, which are located on the hinged areas, and 24 inches is not marked at the end of the ruler. Ruler is made of boxwood. "Boxwood"; "Rabone"; "Made in England"; and "No. 1167" appear in print on the tactile side.
