Description Colorful rods designed for teaching basic math concepts to school-age children. Rods are of eight different lengths in the following colors: blue, brown, black, green, light green, yellow, red, and white (natural). All are made of wood, with the exception of 3 plastic yellow rods.

Provenance/History Donor bought the rods at an APH yard sale in the 1990s and donated them to the Callahan Museum in 2006. Cuisenaire Rods have been used at some schools for the blind.
