Description Blue nylon canvas satchel with zipper closure, nylon webbing handles, one internal pocket with velcro closures, screen printed in white on plastic flap, "APH Light Box Materials Level II/Catalog No. 1-08680-00"; spiral bound users manual with blue screen-printed plastic cover; black plastic 6x6 grid pegboard; clear plastic container with lid holds sixty-three (63) Plexiglas pegs in five colors (red, blue, yellow, green, and orange) and three shapes (round, square, triangular); six (6) black foam grid templates, two each in 6x1, 3x3, and 5x5; clear plastic container with lid holds one hundred and ten Plexiglas cubes in red, blue, yellow, green, purple, orange, and black; clear plastic container holds ninety-seven (97) colored Plexiglas marquetry pieces in blue, yellow, red, and green in various sized squares, triangles, circles, rhombi, diamonds, trapezoids, rectangles, half circles, and hexagons; (5) black plastic foam geometric stencils and blanks; thirteen (13) black plastic foam "familiar object" stencils and blanks; twelve (12) colored acetate "familiar object" pictures; one (1) 5" black wooden "stick"; packet containing blackout background, clear and yellow acetate sheets, and vinyl sheet; packet of activity sheets.

Provenance/History The second set of materials developed to accompany the APH Light Box. The Light Box was introduced in 1984 for developing the use of low vision, stimulating an awareness of light and color, and shapes of objects. The APH Project Director was Suzette Frere. Materials Level II was intended for low vision students with a developmental age of 3 to 5. This particular set was used as a demonstration unit in the APH Display Room.
