Description This player was designed specifically by APH for use with the recorded edition of the World Book Encyclopedia. The beige player is made from high-impact ABS plastic and weighs about 10 pounds. It operates on 110-120 volts, 60 cycles, AC only, and has a power consumption of 80 watts. It has a 9-foot power cord and a grounded plug. Track and item number information for index searching is entered on three dials. The player has two operation speeds, 15/16 ips and 1 7/8 ips, and variable speed, tone, and volume controls. It can be used with headphones. A black, soft vinyl carrying case/dust cover with handles is included. "Serial no. ICP-1312" --metal label attached to bottom of player.
