Description Title, performing artist, and patent information appear on each cylinder and lid. Cardboard containers are covered with green and white paper and show the Edison trademark, with a photo illustration of Thomas Edison, and the words "Edison Amberol Record" in large print.
Containers are lined with a soft white cloth. A braille-embossed paper label listing the title, composer, and artist is inserted in each container. Cylinders are identified in the following notes. .1a - Cylinder with recording number 12266, "Stephanie Gavotte," a concertina solo; composer, Czibulka; performed by Alexander Prince. .1b - lid; .1c - container; .1d - braille label. .2a - Cylinder with recording number 12218, "March Aux Flambeux," a concertina solo; composer, Scotson Clarke; performed by Alexander Prince. .2b - lid; .2c - container; .2d - braille label. .3a - Cylinder with recording number 15056, "Walzer a. Der Graf von Luxemburg"; composer, Franz Lehar; performed by Johann-Strauss Orchester (label information in German). .3b - lid; .3c - container; .3d - braille label. .4a - Cylinder with recording number 365, "Roses," waltz from suite "Rose of Shiraz; composer, Eilenberg; performed by Sousa's Band. .4b - lid; .4c - container; .4d - braille label.
