Description 
The third of four shows recorded for the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) radio series "A Quartet." Content of this tape as described in the radio series flyer: "This show, recorded in schools, camps, and homes, shows that blind people take their responsibilities as citizens seriously." According to the flyer, the radio programs were narrated by Herbert Marshall and Robert Trout. Leon Pearson and Gregor Ziemer, AFB Director of Public Education, were responsible for text, interviews, and production. Included is a typewritten form letter dated February 21, 1961 on AFB letterhead from Ziemer to "Program Director," listing available radio tapes and instructions for returning them to AFB. The open-reel recordings were made on magnetic tape. Tape is stored in original metal canister. Label on canister identifies the narrator as Robert Trout.
