Description Talking book tape reproducer, model 2048; instructions are glued to the bottom of the machine. Device is also called a tapette. Accession also includes an audio cassette titled "Six Came Flying," a Canadian National Institute for the Blind cassette mailing pouch, a cassette adapter ("Made in England By Specto Ltd, Serial No. 22134" --label on back of adapter), an audio cassette titled "Lord Grizzly," an 18-track audio cassette for the Mark I tape reproducer titled "A Welsh Story." The 18 track, 22 hour audio tape cassette has a note at the end of each track which stops the Mark I machine "in the event the reader [has] fallen asleep" (donor's information).
