| "This Metropolitan Area Map covers 21 miles east to west and 16 1/2 miles north to south. The total area represented is about 446 square miles." --map legend Designed and produced by Dr. John C. Sherman. Dept. of Geography, University of Washington, Seattle, under the sponsorhip of the U.S. Geological Survey. The embossed map is presented on 4 sheets of plastic; each sheet shows a quadrant of the mapped area. The backs of the sheets are white; the fronts are black with white raised lines, dots, and symbols to indicate boundaries, highways, interchanges, traffic circles, bodies of water, parks, government buildings, and monuments. Map coordinates are indicated at margins by raised lines and braille and large print letters and numbers. Includes braille and large print labeling.
