Description 
On the front of the postcard is a black and white photo of the front entrance and left side of the school building. The building is multistoried. The front entrance is enclosed, and a covered porch runs along the left side of the building. Beneath the photo is printed "Asylum for the Blind. Pittsburg, Pa." A message is written in ink along the top edge of the postcard. The back is not divided and has been used. Along the left edge is printed "No. 326 Published by the Pittsburg News Company, Pittsburg, Pa. Leipzig-Berlin." In the upper left corner is a logo, approximately 5/8 in. square, of a shamrock bearing the letters A, N, and C. Above it is printed "Excelsior." Beneath it is printed "N.Y., Leipzig, Berlin, Dresden." The postcard is postmarked November 9, 1906.
