Abstract On the front of the postcard is a black and white photo of the front and side of the school building. The building is brick with a tiled roof. The front and side entrances are enclosed with open archways and open arched windows. An arched window, with a chimney on either side, rises above the center front roof line. At the top left corner, above the photo, is printed "New Mexico Institute for the Blind. Alamogordo, New Mex." Printed at the bottom right corner is "Warren's." The back of the postcard is divided by print which reads "Post Cards of Quality.--The Albertype Co., Brooklyn, N.Y." The back is used and is postmarked 1922. The school is now called the New Mexico School for the Visually Handicapped.
