Abstract On the front of the postcard is a color-tinted photo of a red brick multistoried school building. The front and side of the building are shown. A tower rises above the front entrance which is arched with a balcony above it. Porches with wood balustrades flank the entry tower. A decorative iron fence runs along the property. Trees obstruct the side-view of the building. Printed at the top left corner is "8183. Institute for the Blind, Jackson, Miss." The back is divided and used. It is postmarked 1909. Accession 2000.73 is a similar postcard.
