Abstract The front of the postcard shows a black & white photo of the front entrance to the three-story building, with two covered balconies, a central cupola, and a two-story wing on either side. "A 17506 State Institution for the Blind, Austin, Tex." is printed along the bottom left edge. The back is undivided and unused. "The Rotograph Co., N.Y., City, (Germany)" is printed along the left edge. The company's circular logo, approximately 3/8 in. in diameter, is printed at the bottom left corner. Museum has another postcard with the same view and postcard number that is postmarked 1907. See accession 1999.90.
