Description 
On the front of the postcard is a color-tinted photo of two school buildings, both red brick with stone quoins. The building in the foreground has a covered entry. "Virgina State School for Colored Deaf and Blind, Newport, Va." is printed along the bottom left edge. The back is divided and unused. "C.T. American Art" is printed within the dividing line. "Published by Louis Kaufmann & Sons, Baltimore, Md. Made in U.S.A." is printed along the left edge. The publisher's logo is printed in the lower left corner. "A-75897" is printed at top center.
