Abstract Postcard shows a highly tinted photo of the rear of the school building. The multistoried building is stone with decorative cupoloas on side wings and large cupola atop a green center dome. The grounds are heavily wooded. "Blind Institute, Louisville, KY." is printed at the top left corner. Reverse is divided and stamped "W.L. Doolan, Kenyon Bldg.- Louisville, KY." An eagle atop a stars and stripes crest is printed in the top left corner.
