Front left half of postcard is embossed with an illustration of a poinsettia. On the right is a rectangular inset, measuring 2 x 2 3/4 in., framed by an embossed gold border, showing a black & white half-tone reproduction of the multistoried school building, with "School for the Blind, Gary, S. Dak." printed at the top left corner. Back of postcard is divided, used, and postmarked Dec 27, 1909. The school is now called the South Dakota School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Bottom left corner is bent. |
