Front of postcard shows a black & white photo of the front of a multistoried school building with arched windows. Other buildings are visible in the background. "The Maryland School for the Blind, 220 East North Avenue, Baltimore, Md." is printed in the single white margin at bottom. The back is divided, used, and postmarked April 28, 1908. "This School offers unusual advantages for blind youth to pursue grammar school and higher literary and musical courses. Besides its own thorough equipment there are in Baltimore advantages such as libraries, lectures[,] concerts, including grand opera, the Peabody Conservatory of Music, all of which may be utilized in connection with a course of study at the School. Tuition $300 per year. For further information address the Superintendent, John F. Bledsoe, A.B., A.M." --back of postcard, upper left corner. Corners are worn. |
