Description 
The sepia photo is glued to a cardboard backing of the same size and shows 15 students sitting at tables, reading braille books. A teacher, at top left, stands to the side of the tables. A piece of typing paper, with the same dimensions as the photo, is glued to the front top edge of the photo. Typewritten on the paper, at center, is the caption "Pupils Following Braille Texts During A Lecture in General Science." Beneath this is typed "Please give credit line to New York Institute for the Education of the Blind, 999 Pelham Parkway, New York, N.Y. Please return this photograph to Paul C. Mitchell, 999 Pelham Parkway, New York City." The number 10 is ink-stamped at top right. Photo has darkened and loosened from cardboard backing.
