Abstract Newspaper clippings, 1913-1990s (bulk 1940s-1980s), about the Kentucky School for the Blind and its students. Miscellaneous correspondence and print material, ca. 1876-1980s (bulk 1950s-1980s), includes letters, school histories and brochures, measured drawings of the campus and buildings, invitations, and press releases, handwritten notes of KY Governor Edward T. Breathitt, a handwritten notecard from Mrs. Louis B. Nunn, and two oversize handwritten ledgers. One ledger lists the daily grade marks of students, ca. 1876. The second is an undated index to (sheet?) music. Photographs, ca. 1920-1990 (bulk 1968-1970s), are of students and school buildings. There is one photo of the Kentucky Worskshop for the Adult Blind (later called Kentucky Industries for the Blind), which opened in 1913 and was under the same management as the school until 1956.
