Description 
Front of postcard shows a black & white photo of two school cottages. Lawn and trees are in the foreground. Printed in the bottom margin is "Cottage Group--Maryland School for the Blind, Ovelea, MD." Partial postmark in photo area at top left. Reverse is used, postmarked April 9, 1949, and is divided by name and location of publisher. "We thank you for your patronage. F. M. Andrews Supt." --handwritten message on reverse in ink. "Md. School for the Blind. Founded in 1853. For all children blind or with defective sight from Maryland and the District of Columbia. Private students received from other States." --printed information on reverse at top left. Postcard has yellowed.
