Admin/Biog History The Idaho School for the Deaf and the Blind opened in Boise on September 12, 1906. The school building burned in 1908 and classes resumed in a rented building. The school relocated to Gooding in 1910, where a new school building was erected on a tract of twenty acres.

Custodial History Reports were sent to the Kentucky School for the Blind and were kept there until being transferred to the Callahan Museum in 1995.

Abstract Printed reports of the Idaho School for the Deaf and the Blind documenting the school's management, building, and student activities. Reports list the school's officers, staff, and students, the school's financial receipts and disbursements, and some include black-and-white photo illus.
Also, included are two copies of a 1918 issue of the school's bulletin containing the catalog of courses for 1918-1919, the school's history, and photo illus.
Extent of Description 5 folders (5 reports and 2 bulletins).
Report dimensions: 9 x 6 in.; except 1911-1912, which measures 8.5 x 5.75 in.
